The Great Hospital offers a range of apartments ranging from rooms in the medieval buildings on the estate, typical almshouses and more modern flats.
Domiciliary Care
Care can be provided both in our assisted living block and in sheltered accommodation by our own in-house care team who are available 24hrs a day.
Events & Activities
The medieval halls are available for hire for a variety of functions. Tours of the medieval buildings can be arranged and regular open days are held.
Weddings, Blessings, Anniversary, Thanksgiving & Celebration
The Great Hospital, close to the heart of the city yet away from the hustle and bustle, has to be the most romantic venue in Norwich for wedding receptions. The beautiful buildings and grounds, with Norwich Cathedral as a back-drop, provide an ideal setting for photographs.

Wedding ReceptionsWe offer exclusive use of our facilities for the day, unlike some larger venues where several wedding parties are accommodated at the same time.

The Great Hospital is not suitable for most evening parties and receptions, as some of our residents live close to the Halls, but please discuss your plans with us.
